Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in women: 1 in 8 women is likely to develop breast cancer in her lifetime. It is one of the cancers that causes the most deaths in women even though 9 in 10 cases can be cured.
.
The earlier a cancer is detected, the better the chances of recovery. So, each year, early detection by screening saves thousands of lives.
.
Cheverny wants to contribute to this national campaign to encourage women to go for a mammography every 2 years.
