ELEGANCE AT THE CASTLE!

Château de Cheverny will host its fifth Hat Festival in May 2025.

This is a unique event in the world of fashion that brings together top French hat designers to exhibit and show off in a fashion show their hats for men and women.

In 2024, an exhibition-demonstration was taking place in the stables. This was the opportunity to watch the milliners at work.

Highlight of the 2024 festival: the hat fashion show*, which always promises to surprise. Straw, sisal, buntal, feathers, flowers and so many more materials are creatively used by the milliners, particularly on the theme of the Olympic Games.

“The Château de Cheverny hat festival is the only one where feminine and masculine hats take part! This event, which goes hand-in-hand with elegance and refinement, will give everyone the opportunity to enter a luxury universe and to adopt it for a weekend. We are proud to support French elegance. The haute-couture reputation of our festival is gaining ground”, explains the Marquise de Vibraye, owner of Château de Cheverny.

A prestigious judging panel including fashion professionals awarded the following prizes:

• Elegance prize
• Know-how prize
• Originality prize
• "Games" prize, themed prize of the year in honour of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games
• Château de Cheverny Prize.

Adults who turn up wearing a decorative hat to the fashion show will enjoy a preferential price.
