Hergé used Cheverny as model for Marlinspike Hall. Immerse yourself in the world of Tintin's adventures by visiting the Château and exhibition "The secrets of Marlinspike Hall".
The Château visit with it’s stairway, arms room and more will remind you of something !

Along the 700m2 interactive path, you can relive the events from the famous cartoon.
Length of visit : 2 hours 15 to 2 hours 30.

The Château, the gardens, the kennels, the English-style park as well as the forest.
After the charm and romantic castle life, the visit continues at a slower pace…
Come and visit the park from a different angle on a guided tour on our electric cars or boats. Take the time to visit the grounds in pure silence, a real change!

The visit of the estate and its various angles.
The Cheverny estate is composed of the Château, gardens and of course the strong link with Tintin which you will discover upon visiting the exhibition.
The forest and park and magical maze are other unmissable parts of the adventure.
Length of visit : 3 to 4 hours.

For individuals, no reservation is necessary.
A flier is given to you on entry.

To visit the park and the canal by car and by electric boats, there are departures every 30 minutes throughout the day.
Early morning offers the best conditions for a visit in the high season.
Dogs are generally not allowed.
Baby carriages can't be used in the Château and have to be left behind at the entrance.
Of course, you can use them in the gardens and the exhibition "The secrets of Marlinspike Hall".
You will find changing tables in the toilet "Parking P1" and in "Cafe de l'Orangerie".
Due to an external staircase the Château is difficult to access by wheelchair.
The exhibition "The secrets of Marlinspike Hall" is wheelchair accessible by an elevator.
